“How do I Start?”
Send an email to info@selfmadenotary.com to discuss your appointment with your notary.
Once your appointment is made, set up your free account.
Determine how you want to pay.
4. Upload your documents to our secure online platform.
5. Upload a photo of your driver license or another government-issued ID
6. Submit your social security number, ITIN or another identifier to begin the process of answering the KBA identity verifying questions.
7. Meet your notary online.
8. You will then sign your document electronically.
9. Then your notary will electronically sign and place a digital seal on the document.
Valid Government Issued ID
(OREGON) We can accept ID that is expired up to 3 years before the date of notarization.
A signer can electronically sign documents from anywhere in the United States. Self Made Notary, is an Oregon-based notary company, and notarizations will be completed from the State of Oregon.

Here is a list of examples where this right might be used but is not limited to:
The client is unable or unwilling to verify their identity.
The client is not operating under a sound mind or their own free will.
If the notary has reason to believe the client’s document is illegal or fraudulent.
Blank spaces appear in the document & the client is unwilling to complete in front of the notary, etc.
